First Spiritualist Church Library

First Spiritualist Church has been an active presence in San Diego since 1881, and our library contains more than 140 years of Spiritualist and Occult history and archives, including many unique and ultra-rare periodicals and publications. We are currently working with the International Association for the Preservation of Spiritualist and Occult Periodicals (IAPSOP) on digitizing and preserving our historic collection for the public. This project is ongoing, and you can access the periodicals that have been uploaded so far on our IAPSOP page.

In addition, we are currently undergoing a library renovation project, so that researchers and guests can visit our in house collections by appointment.
